Domino

Immersive Aerial Performance | Unity, Qualisys Motion Capture | 2025

Aerial lyra performance responding to real-time motion capture in CU Boulder's B2 Center—a 360° projection-mapped studio with spatial audio. Set to Magdalena Bay's "Domino." Built in Unity, integrating Qualysis motion capture.

Graduate project, CU Boulder Creative Technology Program

I worked with a lyra artist who created the aerial choreography, then built accompanying visual sequences in Unity Timeline to match her movement. The lyra hoop was tracked via Qualisys mocap during the live performance—hoop rotation and velocity drove particle systems, shader effects, and environmental transformations in the projection mapped space.

Motion Capture Game Character

Game Development | Unity, Qualisys Motion Capture | 2025

Game character developed in Unity 3D using Qualysis motion capture system

Movements were captured using motion capture system, and converted into animations in Unity 3D. The animations were scripted and blended in Unity’s Mecanim animation graph tool. The character naturally blends between motion capture animations based on their movement.
